Research on Evaluation Method of Freight Transportation Environmental Sustainability

As an important part of daily economic activities, freight transportation produces various pollutions during the process, which will have a negative effect on sustainable development environment. In this paper, entropy weight technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) combination method was used specific calculations, in judge whether is environmentally sustainable. On basis selecting and classifying several factors transportation, calculate analyze data inland river over 8 recent years. The each influencing factor determined, then TOPSIS compare environmental years, sustainability target transport section calculated comparing results. proposed paper first example using weight–TOPSIS evaluate field also solving problems impact subjective existing methods difficulty dealing with multiple factors.
